ALELÍ BUDAPEST

Our philosophy

Alelí is a true Italian osteria where the charm of mediterranean cuisine comes to life through Dani García’s inspiration and recipes. The spirit of dolce far niente is palpable in the air, and the menu invites guests on a journey through different regions of Italy, including Piedmont, Lombardy, Lazio, Campania, or Sicily.

Italian cuisine embodies the concept of cooking with heart and soul, with a deep connection to people and respect for the ingredients. Alelí’s head chef, the renowned Italian chef Giorgio Cavicchiolo, perfectly embodies everything that lies at the heart of Italian cuisine.

The Dani García Group

In the autumn of 2019, Dani García Restaurante, the restaurant of the Marbella-born chef Dani García, was awarded three Michelin stars. After that, the chef wondered “Where to next?”. He decided to take his culinary art to the world and created the Dani García Group.
The Dani García Group doesn’t just offer a gastronomic experience; it embodies an entire philosophy. Their mission is to extend the chef’s unique culinary perspective and interpretation of Andalusian cuisine to the whole world.

Menu concept

If there’s one thing that truly characterizes Alelí restaurant, it’s the authenticity of the ingredients used to prepare its dishes. This includes sourcing ingredients directly from Italy to ensure a truly authentic Italian experience: Parmigiano-Reggiano salami, cheeses from Bologna, and wines from Southern Italy.
